Who we are

What we collect
Your name, delivery address, phone number and email address, so we can take payment for and deliver your order; your order and payment status, so we can invoice, refund and meet tax obligations; your correspondence with us; your marketing preferences if you opt in; and basic website usage data. We do not store card or UPI credentials — those go directly to our payment gateway.
Why we are allowed to
Chiefly your consent, given by a clear affirmative action when you place an order, message us, or tick a marketing box. Some processing rests on legal obligation, such as retaining invoices for tax. We will never require marketing consent as a condition of purchase.
Who we share it with
Only Processors acting on our instructions: Shopify (platform and checkout), our payment gateway, courier and logistics partners, our email and messaging providers, our analytics provider where you accepted analytics cookies, and our accountants. Some process data outside India under contractual protection consistent with this policy. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Order, invoice and tax records for 8 years as Indian law requires. Correspondence for 3 years. Marketing consent until you withdraw it. Analytics for 14 months.
Your rights
You may access a summary of your data, correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, nominate someone to act for you, and withdraw consent at any time as easily as you gave it. Email slmboutique.erode@gmail.com. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 30 days.

Children
This store is for adults. We do not knowingly process the data of anyone under 18 without verifiable parental consent, and we do not track or target children.
Security and breaches
We apply reasonable safeguards including encryption in transit and restricted internal access. In the event of a personal data breach we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected person as the Act requires.
